Our mission is to make all women feel beautiful in their jeans. And to achieve that without compromising our ethical values.
Most quality fashion goods are produced in China, East Asia, and South America, however, the Wazana brothers strongly believe in local production and social conscience. They’ve strived against all odds, despite industry standards, to adhere to their principles, which is why they decided that all of their denim styles are to be 100% handcrafted at the Yoga Jeans® production facility in Canada. Manufacturing in Canada allows us at Yoga Jeans® more creativity and better quality control but most importantly, it just feels right.
We are very proud of our factory. Every Yoga Jeans® product is created in our 52 000 square foot facility situated in Saint-Côme Linière, in Quebec, Canada. This proximity allows us to have extended control over quality, production, and ethical standards as well as enabling us to make quick changes when needed. Our employees work every day to make sure that Yoga Jeans® offers the most sustainable and eco-friendly denim products available. It is our daily quest to make the best product all factors combined. Over 90% of the fabric is used in the finished product, and the remainder is recycled. We use organic cotton whenever possible, and our washing formulas have a minimum liquid ratio, typically our water consumption is 50% less than industry standards. Our washing formulas are made of natural enzymes and biodegradable wash agents instead of toxic chemicals that are harmful to the environment, and because all Yoga Jeans® styles are locally made, our carbon footprint is minimal.
Our factory uses energy efficient machinery and lighting. Each garment is individually handcrafted to ensure that quality and environmentally friendly production processes standards are upheld.
